TRAMAG offers compact LCL filters for regenerative drives and converters, which can also be configured to customer specifications. Our LCL filters – a combination of line choke and output filter with capacitors – are used between converter and mains to reduce the harmonic load in the mains. They thus also act as a line choke for the input.

LCL filters: Applications
Today, braking processes are controlled by frequency converters. Frequency converters feed braking energy back into the mains as current. LCL filters are used to ensure that the feedback remains compatible with the mains. We offer LCL filters for the grid connection of regenerative converters, wind generators and solar plants.
