TRAMAG Technology for Power Supply and Power Quality – The added value for applications in drives and automation technology

We are looking forward to your visit at our booth 523 in hall 4. We, TRAMAG employees from technology and sales, welcome you there and are curious how and with what we can help you. Of course, we will once again be exhibiting innovative TRAMAG product solutions on our stand area, which represent an interesting cross-section of our current range for relevant applications in the drives and automation industry:

    • LCL-Filter: The combination of double-deck choke and capacitors ensures a permissible and grid-compatible current feed into the supply grid. A compact design and the special mechanical bracing also ensure reduced noise emissions during operation.
    • Load choke: It is part of the electrical equipment of test systems and takes over the task of a motor substitute load in automatically operated inverter test benches for the e-vehicle (EV) industry. On request, also available pre-assembled in the test cabinet, prepared for further expansion.
    • Air coil: An inductive coil without iron core with a large linear inductance curve. Used as a test load in test facilities and systems to test switching elements with high short-circuit resistance requirements. It is characterized by a compact design and high mechanical stability.
    • PREMAG Transformer: In order to prevent an uncontrolled increase of the inrush current during switch-on processes, the PREMAG transformer supplies the secondary side before the MSP transformer is switched on and thus pre-magnetizes the core of the MSP transformer for reduced switch-on behavior. It is therefore called a pre-magnetization transformer and has a correspondingly short duty cycle.

Exemplary TRAMAG product solutions for exciting and innovative applications in various fields of drives and automation technology.

We look forward to taking up your challenge! Please contact us.

Quality is when your QMB goes “High-Five-S” with you

We know where quality must ultimately be demonstrated and proven: In the product, in the customer’s application. But where does quality begin? On the one hand in technical development and on the other hand in the organization of workplaces in production. Employees who keep their workstations tidy maintain an overview, have access to the right tools at all times and can work on the product efficiently and with quality assurance.

Information visit to TRAMAG by the VDI District Association of Bavaria North-East

On the afternoon of St Nicholas’ Day, the TRAMAG plant in Fürth hosted an information event for members of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) from the Bavarian North-East District Association. Due to the regional proximity and also taking TRAMAG’s 100th anniversary as an occasion, we received a request from the Nuremberg VDI local group to visit our plant, which we were very happy to fulfil.

“Quality is when the Customer comes back and not the Product”

The most technically innovative or economically attractive product in an application is worth nothing if the quality is not right. Not only would the failure of the product itself have to be lamented, but possibly also further damage to the entire application.
