TRAMAG’s Anniversary Celebration on 7.7.2023 of the Company’s Foundation 100 Years ago

Visit from the Lord Mayor of Fürth, Dr. Thomas Jung

Bright sunshine over the festively decorated TRAMAG premises in Fürth-Sack, a great atmosphere among the staff and the numerous guests. The best possible conditions to celebrate TRAMAG’s 100th birthday in good spirits.

We were particularly pleased to welcome the Mayor of Fürth, Dr. Thomas Jung, who also came to our anniversary celebration, accompanied by the Economic Advisor, Horst Müller. In their speeches, both representatives of the city of Fürth expressed their appreciation for the commitment shown by the owner family and the staff over decades and also emphasized their pride in TRAMAG as a strong company in the Fürth economy.

Stefan Ammon, owner and managing director of TRAMAG, explained in his speech that TRAMAG had achieved what, statistically speaking, only two out of one hundred companies succeed in doing: Celebrating its one hundredth anniversary!

A heartfelt thank you to family, TRAMAG team and customers

He began by thanking his family, from whom he receives so much support, even though family time together is often far too short. And of course Stefan Ammon addressed a heartfelt thank you to the great TRAMAG employees, without whose dedication and commitment to the company today’s event would be unthinkable.

And it is not least thanks to the trust of our customers that TRAMAG has now been holding its own in the market for 100 years, as a successfully growing manufacturer of transformers and chokes that is well equipped for the future, including for drive technology, medical technology and the regenerative energy industry. Stefan Ammon was also keen to emphasize this in conclusion.

More about the exciting history of TRAMAG can be found in our articles in the news on the TRAMAG website  or on our LinkedIn channel.

From the Fürth Solar Hill to the own Solar Roof

Eight years after saving the commissioning of the “Fürth Solarberg” with TRAMAG transformers, the Ammon family decided to install their own photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of TRAMAG’s own company building. The 184kW peak output is sufficient to supply around 55 households with electricity, as reported in December 2011 by the Fürther Nachrichten on the occasion of the commissioning of the TRAMAG PV system, which was also attended by the Mayor of Fürth, who also climbed onto TRAMAG’s roof.
