Matching autotransformers in industrial applications
TRAMAG products explained
A special version of the matching transformers are our autotransformers. They are also used, among other purposes, for the operation of industrial furnaces for the voltage supply of electrical heating elements within these furnaces, with adapted voltage levels according to the ageing condition of these heating elements.
These transformers, without safe galvanic isolation, as without separate windings = autotransformers, depending on the voltage differences, are often smaller in the installation space and bring corresponding loss advantages. They are also voltage-stiff and have a higher efficiency.
Since 1923, TRAMAG has been developing and manufacturing custom-fit and demand-oriented wound goods that can be used across all industries, convincing with their highly reliable quality.
