Testing technology
Quality without compromise
TRAMAG has a semi-automated test facility for routine and type tests as well as for special tests such as warm runs and acceptance tests for approvals such as VDE, UL, CSA, DNV GL. Special testing and measuring equipment, such as for pressure and tightness testing for water-cooled winding materials and for precise checking of the number of turns on a coil, ensure our high quality standards.

Copper or aluminum coil
We work with high current strip winding in copper and aluminum design up to 800 mm width, with single and multiple parallel windings in round and flat wire design. TRAMAG expertise also includes, among others, high cantilever windings for more compact designs as well as high frequency stranded windings for chokes and filters with special electrical requirements.
Magnetic Core
Low-loss induction
TRAMAG offers the use of all standard grades for laminated cores up to highly silicided one-hundredth millimeter thin core sheet for high-frequency applications. An in-house core cutting center for all common electrical steel grades ensures short lead times. In-house expertise and long-standing partnerships with raw material suppliers ensure a continuous supply to production for reliable delivery performance to our customers.
