Mains transformers

Single-phase and three-phase mains transformers from TRAMAG

For feeding primary voltages of different magnitudes

TRAMAG’s single-phase and three-phase mains transformers are used for the safe voltage supply of machines and systems. We offer autotransformers or isolating transformers for changing the output voltage with or without tapping. One or more taps on the primary winding of the transformer make it possible to feed in primary voltages of different magnitudes, transforming only to one output voltage. It is also possible to transform to several output voltages.

We provide mains transformers for the following industries

Reliable sinusoidal filters from TRAMAG

For increasing the efficiency of motor systems

As filter circuits, sinusoidal filters ensure that the output voltage becomes sinusoidal again at a fixed resonance frequency. This protects the motor, the motor cables can be longer and the motor noise as well as the motor heating are positively reduced. This increases the overall efficiency of the system and reduces the problem of voltage spikes.

We provide sinusoidal filters for the following industries

Specifications of sinusoidal filters from TRAMAG

Technical characteristics and quality features

Sinusoidal filters: Applications

Unwanted voltage surges occur between frequency converters and the motor, caused by longer cable lengths at the motor terminals. The design of TRAMAG sinusoidal filters, which is carried out for a specific clock frequency of the inverter in relation to the fundamental frequency, provides a remedy. Chokes as inductance and corresponding capacitances form a low-pass filter.

Sinusoidal filter: Technical characteristics

  • Rated voltage: Depending on the model 200-690 V
  • Base frequency: Up to 800 Hz
  • Clock frequency: Max. 8k Hz
  • Protection classes: IP23, IP00

Sinusoidal filter: Quality features

  • DIN EN 61558-2-20

Reliable dU/dt filters from TRAMAG

For the reduction of load stress

When operating with speed-controlling frequency converters, the motor winding insulation is subjected to higher voltage loads, in contrast to a motor that is connected directly to the mains. The higher loads also depend on the motor cable length. The TRAMAG dU/dt filters reduce the load and aging stress of the motor winding by lowering the dU/dt value of the output voltage of the frequency converter. This improves the quality of the current pattern and thus increases the service life of motor windings.

We provide dU/dt-filters for the following industries

Specifications of dU/dt filters from TRAMAG

Technical characteristics and quality features

dU/dt Filters: Applications

TRAMAG’s dU/dt filters are a cost-effective alternative for applications in the drive system which do not require complete filtering of the conductor-to-conductor voltages, as is the case with a sinusoidal filter. Natural overshoots can be up to 1.5 times the DC link voltage. The resulting secondary oscillations are quickly attenuated with the dU/dt filters to reduce high-frequency interference signals to a minimum and to increase the availability and service life of the motor.

dU/dt filters: Technical features

  • Rated voltage: Depending on the model 200-690 V
  • DC link voltage: Depending on model 400-980 V
  • Clock frequency: Max. 8k Hz
  • Protection classes: IP23, IP00
